Playing - Simple Mode

The Simple Mode is meant for Users who mainly want to see GPS based Distances, measure the lengths of their Strokes and enter their Score. For these people there is the Simple Mode, concentrating on these tasks and offering huge Fonts and finger-friendly buttons. In-Depth functionalities such as scoring for more than one person, entering Stroke Details or analyzing the Short Game are not possible using the Simple Mode. But one can switch between Normal and Simple mode at any time.

To switch to the Simple Mode, tap on MoGoSco at the lower left and select Simple Mode from the Menu.

The Screen in Simple Mode is made up in five parts:

At the very top you can see the Course you play, the present Hole, its Par, its Stroke Index, the number of Strokes you have on the hole (one / per Stroke) and its length.

At the upper right the GPS Display can be found:

  • turns the GPS on, once turned on, you can turn the GPS off by tapping again on the Icon
  • means a bad stability of the GPS Signal
  • means a weak stability of the GPS Signal
  • means a good stability of the GPS Signal

Below that you can find the GPS Distances. In the large box you can see the Distance from your Position to the selected GPS Position. The GPS Positions available are shown below the box, with the selected GPS Position being below the center of the box. Using the and Icons at the sides of the box, you can change the selected GPS Position.

In case the Course Calibration was turned on using the Icon below, you can use the Icon to delete the selected GPS Position. Using the Icon, you can measure a new GPS Position for the Hole.

Within the GPS Distances, you can see additional information:

Below the Shot Lengths are displayed. In the large box you can see length of the selected Shot. The Shots available are shown below the box, with the selected Shot being below the center of the box. Using the and Icons at the sides of the box, you can change the selected Shot. How to record a Shot Length is explained below.

In the lower Part you have the Controls to enter your Score on the Hole:

  • Under Str you can see the number of Shots, to activate this Box manually, tap on it
  • Under Putts you can see the number of Putts, to activate this Box manually, tap on it
  • Using the Digits Icons 1-0 and X you can enter the Number of Strokes and Putts. The activated Box which will receive the entry is grayed. After tapping on one of the Digits Icons, the activation of the Boxes is advanced automatically
  • By tapping on FwH you can select that you Hit the Fairway

In the lowest Row you have the following Icons:

  changes to the next Hole
  changes to the previous Hole
  changes to Recording the Stroke Lengths
  turns Course Calibration on and off
  opens the Round Statistics
  changes to the Normal Mode
  terminates the Round
  in case you use a square screen, use this Icon to see the two Icons above
