Playing - One Touch GPS Window

Here you can record your GPS Positions of your Strokes and Tee Shots using just Button without using the Hardware Buttons. Doing so, you can measure all Positions while playing the Hole without paying too much attention to the Pocket PC and in a second step, for example when waiting on the next tee, you can record your Score and Stroke Details. The Window is positioned in such a way, that you can still see the Lengths and Distances in the Playing Window.

In order to use One-Touch GPS, you must activate it in the Settings and, the Stroke Details for the Player you want to record GPS positions for must be turned on using the # Button. As the One-Touch GPS consists of spoken feedback, please make sure that the speaker of your Pocket PC is turned on.

  • Use Start OTGPS Measurement to initiate a One-Touch GPS Measurement. You will hear "GPS" as confirmation. If selected in the Settings, you will hear before the Measurement which Hole and Stroke you are about to measure.
While measuring, if activated in the Settings, you see a Window that shows how long the Measurement will take, and how good the Quality of the GPS signal is. After the measurement time, the Window will disappear automatically.
In case the maximum Movement of the GPS Signal during the measurement time defined in the Settings is below the selected Precision, the measurement will be successful and you will hear "measured". In case the Oscillation of the GPS Signal was too high, you will hear "no valid measurement".
In case you made a valid Measurement and you have activated the Option in Settings OTGPS you will be asked to enter graphically the Club, the Result and Landing Zone of your Shot. This way you can record all details for a Shot without leaving the OTGPS Window.

  • Use Tell Distance to Green to hear the remaining distance to the Green after each successful measurement. In case you are on a Hole that has a Position for the Green saved and there is a GPS Signal, you can see the actual Distance to the Green.

  • Use Hole --> to go to the next Hole

  • Use <-- Hole to go to the prior Hole

In case you don't want to have your Speaker turned on, you can also read all spoken Messages next to the Icon.
