Playing - Stroke Lengths and Distance to Green
|
Once you tap on # in the
Line of a Player, the lower Part of the Playing-Screen
changes. There, you can see - in case you
have a GPS device connected or recorded visually the Ball Landings on
the Yardage Book - the length of your Shots and the Distance
to the Green. Select
the Stroke you want to see the length of by using the Box or
Sliders next to Stroke. Then,
in the right lower Part of the screen, you see 3 Lines:
- The first Line shows the
length of the selected Shot. In case the Line reads 'no Pos', that
means that you did not record the GPS Positions
of this Stroke nor visually recorded the Ball
Landing on the Yardage Book. You can uncheck the Check-Box left of the
length to exclude the Stroke from the Statistics, in case you did
not hit the ball fully.
- The second Line 'L' shows
you the distance from the last recorded GPS Position to where you
are at the moment. In case the Line reads 'no Pos', that means that
you did not record GPS Positions yet
or that there is no GPS signal available.
- When connected to a GPS device,
the third Line shows
you the distance from your present position to the selected Target,
which is the Green by default or when you change the Hole.
When tapping on , a Window
opens in which you can see
All Distances. In that Window you can also add and delete
Positions, see a Club suggestion or change the Target you see the
Distance to here.
In order
to change the Target, tap on and select the Target to measure
the Distance to from the Menu. In case
the Line reads 'no Pos' you have no GPS signal available or not
recorded the Position of the Green. When not connected to a
GPS device, the third Line shows
you the distance from the last visually recorded Ball Landing to the
Green. In case
the Line reads 'no Pos' you have not
visually recorded the Ball Landings on the
Yardage Book,
not visually calibrated the
Yardage Book or not defined the
Green Position on the
Yardage Book. In case a distance is shown, you can tap on the
Distance to
see a Club Suggestion for
that distance. This is only possible, after
average Stroke Lengths per Club
have been defined for the Player.
If the Length of the Shot or the
Distance to the Green or selected Target is shown
using GPS, the lines are shown normally. In case they result from
recording visually the Ball Landings on the Yardage Book the lines are
shown in Italic.
In case
the 3 Lines are not visible, tap on
at the bottom of the Screen to
switch to that Mode.
In order to record GPS Positions,
tap on
at the bottom of the Screen.
In order to record the Ball Landings
visually on the Yardage Book, tap on I at the top of the
Screen.
