Here you can record
your Stroke lengths and Green Positions. The upper Part of the Screen is
identical to the Settings-GPS screen,
please see there for details. In the Lower part, you can record your GPS
Positions of your Strokes: Use
the Position Combo Box to select which Position you want to
record:
-
select Tee if you want to record the Position where you
hit your Tee-Shot from
-
select After Stroke X to record where
your Ball landed after hitting stroke X, in case you had to drop the
Ball after Stroke X, you will see Aft Str X (Out), Aft
Str X (Water) or Aft Str X (Unpl) in the list
-
in case you had to
drop the ball, select Drop for Stroke X to define the
position where you dropped
-
in case you hit your
Ball Out of Bounds, you don't need to record a position for
your second shot from this position as the position of the initial
shot which went out of bounds is automatically used
-
select Start of Green to set
the Position of the Green. The Positions of the greens are immediately
saved into the Courses Database.
Tap
on Del to delete a previously recorded GPS Position. Next
to Is GPS from you can tap on either Now, 5s, 10s
or 30s to set the Position selected before to the GPS Signal
from now or the average of the GPS Signals from the last 5, 10 or 30
seconds. Using an average Position helps to eliminate inaccuracies of
the GPS signal. You should watch the Movement over the last Seconds and
the Colored Horizontal Bar closely
to judge the quality of the GPS Position (see Settings-GPS
for details). In case you want to record a
Position which is already recorded, a Warning is issued. After the
Position was recorded, you return to Playing the
Game automatically. In case these Buttons are grayed out, you are
either not connected to your GPS device (tap on Connect in the upper
Part) or there is no GPS Position available (check the Fix in the upper
Part). In case One-Touch GPS is
activated in the Settings, you can
tap on OT-GPS which is shown instead of the 10s and 30s buttons,
to initiate a One-Touch GPS measurement. In case this Measurement
is successful, you are being told "measured", in case the Measurement
fails, you hear "no valid measurement".
At
the very Bottom of the Screen you can see for which Player and Hole you
record the GPS Positions.
To leave without
recording Positions, tap on Cancel.
