Courses Database - Import Hole Image from Google Earth

Here you can can automatically import a Hole Image from Google Earth.

This will only work, it you have at lest installed Version 4.0.2737 from Google Earth, have a GPS Coordinate for the Start of the Green of the Hole and at least 2 additional GPS Coordinates for the Hole.

Also, to ensure that the entire Hole is captured, you should have one GPS Position at the beginning of the hole - typically the longest Tee Box and - in case the green is extensively deep, also a Position at the End of the Green.

While importing, do not touch the Mouse or Keyboard of your PC as this will interfere with the automatic Import. When importing more than one Image, you will hear through the Speaker of your PC what is going on.

Also, please pay attention to hide all Icons that are overlaying the Satellite Images in Google Earth before importing the Hole Images. You can do this in the Layers Part in Google Earth. Also make sure, that nothing from the Primary Database (Layers Part at the Bottom) is turned on, as this might deposition the Image.

In case you are only getting black images, please activate the Safe Mode in the Settings.

After importing the Hole Image, you can use the Cut Function in the Yardage Book to cut the Image into shape.
