Here you can GPS calibrate
your Yardage Book Image. GPS Calibration is necessary to map GPS
Positions (e.g. Stroke Results) on the
Yardage Book image. After calibration of the Yardage Book Image, you can
visualize the Strokes as colored Lines painted over the Yardage Book
image when generating a PDF File.
To calibrate the Yardage Book Image you
need to define at least 2 GPS Positions and manually map them to the
Yardage Book image. The more positions you map manually, the better the
Results will be. In
the List Box in the upper part you see all GPS Positions you
already manually mapped. Check
Show quality of GPS Data to see the Quality of the GPS Positions.
The Quality is determined by calculating the Position of each recorded
Position on the Yardage Book Image using the other recorded Positions and
comparing that to where the Position was marked on the Yardage Book
Image. The Distance of these two Positions in Pixels is the Quality,
which should be below 15. Tap
on New to start mapping a GPS Position manually. Read the
instructions in the window popping up and tap on OK. Then, tap on
the Yardage Book Image on the Position you want to record GPS
Positions for. After that, you are presented a Dialog box to set the GPS
Coordinates. The operation is identical to Playing - Recording GPS Positions.
After you have successfully mapped the GPS Position you will find a new
GPS Position named Untitled in the List Box. Tap
on Name to change the Name of the GPS Position selected in the
List Box. In the Window coming up, enter the new Name in the Edit Box
or select the new Name from the Combo Box. Tap on OK
to confirm the new name or on Cancel to abort. Tap
on Delete to delete the GPS Position selected in the List Box. In
the Window coming up, tap on OK to confirm the deletion or on Cancel
to abort. Top on GPS to
measure again the GPS Coordinates for the selected GPS Position.
The operation is identical to Playing - Recording GPS Positions.
Tap on Pos to
reposition the GPS Position on the Yardage Book image. After the Tap,
tap on the new Position on the Image, to abort the Repositioning, tap
outside the Image. Double-Tap
on one of the Entries in the List to see the
Details of the GPS
Position in a new Window. Tap
on Hole Image from Google Earth to
import a Hole Image from Google
Earth for the Hole. Tap on OK
to confirm the changes of the GPS Positions or on Cancel to
Abort. Once GPS Positions are mapped manually, you see a little Satellite
Icon at the Spot where you added the GPS Position.
