Google Earth Integration - Review of the Round

The free Software Google Earth combines satellite imagery and maps to put the world's geographic information at your fingertips.

Thanks to the Integration between the Mobile Golf Scorer and Google Earth you can now combine the GPS Positions you took while playing and the satellite images to review your Round in a very special way.

You will see the Shots you made projected on the Ground and you can review all details about your Shots: Length, Club, Result and more.

And, you can work the other way Round, too: just mark all Tees, Greens and Hazards in Google Earth and import these Placemarks into Mobile Golf Scorer - this way you can GPS calibrate a Golf Course at home and get accurate distances even on a Course you never played before.

Another cool feature is the possibility to see which Score you made from which Position, again mapped on the Google-Earth Images. You see little Dots with different colors, representing Bogeys, Pars and Birdies and you can choose if you want to see the Scores after the Drives, after the second Shots or after the Shots to the Green. Visually you will understand immediately, using which tactic yields the best result on that specific hole.

Of Course, not all Courses on the World are available in high resolution at Google Earth, but the maps are continuously being enhanced.

You can get a Free Copy of Google Earth here - once installed, you can use this link to see an example of how your round could look from Space. Double click on the single Shots you see in the left pane or the little Club Icons you see - the System will automatically take you to the best viewing point.
